Article Withdrawal Policy
International Journal of Agricultural Research and Multidisciplinary Research Trends (IJARMRT) values the time, effort, and resources invested by authors, editors, reviewers, and publication staff during the processing of each manuscript.
Therefore, authors are strongly encouraged to carefully consider their submission before submitting a manuscript and are discouraged from withdrawing a manuscript after it has been accepted for publication.
1. Withdrawal Before Acceptance
Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript at any stage before the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.
No Withdrawal Charge Before Acceptance
Manuscripts withdrawn before formal acceptance will not incur a withdrawal charge. Authors should submit the withdrawal request officially to the editorial office.
2. Withdrawal After Acceptance
Once a manuscript has been accepted for publication, withdrawal requests are strongly discouraged because substantial editorial, peer-review, administrative, and publication work may already have been completed.
If an author requests withdrawal after acceptance, a withdrawal fee may be applicable. The applicable fee will be determined according to the journal's prevailing page-based withdrawal charges and will not exceed the applicable published charge.
The withdrawal fee, where applicable, is intended to cover the editorial and administrative work already undertaken during the review and acceptance process.
3. Withdrawal Request Process
All requests for withdrawal after acceptance must be submitted officially in writing to the IJARMRT Editorial Office.
- The corresponding author should submit the withdrawal request by official email.
- The request should clearly state the manuscript title, manuscript ID (if available), author details, and the reason for withdrawal.
- The Editorial Office will review the request and determine the applicable withdrawal procedure.
- Where a withdrawal fee is applicable, the author will be informed of the applicable charge.
- The manuscript will be considered officially withdrawn only after the applicable requirements have been completed and the withdrawal has been acknowledged by the journal.
4. Withdrawal Justification
Authors requesting withdrawal after acceptance should provide a clear and genuine justification for their request. The Editorial Office may seek additional information where necessary to understand the circumstances surrounding the withdrawal.
Withdrawal requests should not be used to submit the same manuscript simultaneously to another journal after the editorial and peer-review resources of IJARMRT have already been utilized.
5. Ethical Considerations
Authors are expected to maintain responsible publication practices throughout the submission and review process. A manuscript should not be simultaneously submitted to another journal while it is under consideration by IJARMRT.
Any withdrawal request associated with duplicate submission, publication misconduct, or other ethical concerns may be reviewed separately under the journal's applicable publication ethics policies.
6. Official Withdrawal Status
A manuscript is not considered officially withdrawn merely because an author sends an informal request. Withdrawal becomes effective only after the Editorial Office has reviewed the request and formally acknowledged the withdrawal.
Where applicable, the journal may update its internal and publication records to reflect the final withdrawal status of the manuscript.
7. General Policy
This policy is intended to ensure fairness to authors, reviewers, editors, and the journal's publication team while protecting the integrity of the editorial and publication process.
IJARMRT reserves the right to review withdrawal requests on a case-by-case basis and may take appropriate action where a request involves publication ethics or research integrity concerns.
