Publication Ethics and Responsibilities
The
IJARMRT
is committed to ethical and transparency standards for publications. Editors,
reviewers, authors, and publishers all have to responsibility to:
Editors
Editor’s
decision is solely based on the academic merit of the submission. Editors have
to accept and reject a submission on the basis of relevance and scope. Editors
are committed to maintaining transparency by deciding and accepting/rejecting
articles on their intellectual contribution, without the mention of authors'
gender, race, religion or national and territorial origin.
All
submission will be reviewed anonymously by at least two knowledgeable
researchers of the field. Editorial board and members are obliged to maintain a
confidentiality policy for submissions. Access will be limited to the
corresponding author, reviewers, editors, and members of the editorial board.
Reviewers
Peer
reviewers support editorial decision making and improve quality of
publications. A reviewer has to give fair, objective and timely feedback. A
reviewer is required to state which part/idea has been wrongly
interpreted/written or requires a reference.
A
reviewer is expected to find the relevant published articles that authors have
missed. Editors try to avoid repetition between manuscripts. Editors check for
and will investigate cases of suspected plagiarism or publication fraud, though
reviewers do not actively review for plagiarised work.
They
will have to take note of similarities with existing research. Reviewer will
keep the content of the manuscript completely confidential.
The
reviewer will decline to review if he or she is unable or unqualified to review
within the given time frame. Any conflicts of interest should be declared.
Editors, or their representatives, can reject any submission and this would be
communicated to reviewers as a final decision with out an explanation of
editors’ decision process. Misconduct and non-adherence will result in removal
from review board for potential removal from review pool and publication lists.
Authors
A
writer's work has to be original and should have not been published or
simultaneously submitted for publication elsewhere in any language or forms of
communication. All sources used have to be properly referenced. Authors are
requested to follow the submission procedures and guidelines laid by the
journal. Authors will disclose any conflicts of interest and funding support.
Any individual who has significantly contributed to the work may be listed as
co-author. Editors consider the work for publication only on the condition of
full cooperation from author/co-author and acceptance of editors’ editorial
adjustments to the work. Editors consider and decide the publication without
the mention of author’s age, gender, race, religion or national and territorial
origin. Authors will have to cooperate with editors on response to reviewer's
comments. Errors in publications must be corrected. Authors will inform the
editor once they have identified a significant error, inaccuracy, or omission
in their own published work.
Editors
should issue an erratum or, if needed, retract the article in consultation with
editors.
Publisher
The
Publisher is expected to work with the Editors, where necessary, to investigate
and deal with plagiarism, fraudulent or unethical publication. This could
include publishing errata or retractions.
